Impossible Isles is an original daily turn-based map-like puzzler for everyone. Just place tiles on a map according to simple rules to create a tiny world and score.
But every day the Imp resets the world - a new pack on tiles, dealt in the same order all day. A new starter map and wildcard. Even the Imp's path is the same all day so there's no luck, everyone plays the same content each day.
The game has a few secrets up it's sleeve so check your score against friends on the daily leaderboard (iOS/Android only).

IN EXCHANGE FOR REDPRISON.
READ BELOW IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.
I bought the one existing copy of FUCKGAMEDEV's REDPRISON. I haven't played it, and don't know what it is.
I want to share it with everyone who creates something that imagines what "REDPRISON" could be, or just riff off the word "REDPRISON". Or you can do whatever you want, really.
I'm accepting everything: games, music, haikus/poems, drawings, photos, snail mail, emotions, wormholes, even all comments and messages*.
I'll package it all in a .zip folder. If the application of your work is unspecified, I'll use text in a Bitsy game and assets in a Unity first-person game.
On October 1st, I'll release REDPRISON to all participants through a Dropbox link. That will also be the day I publish the .zip file containing everyone's work.

This is an even more confusing version of the game Proper (glorioustrainwrecks.com/node/9719). Every version is different! Did I mention that they're almost all pointless and unplayable?
Here's a web/flash version, it's a bit diy. If you like underworld, this'll work. It of course runs a little faster, I think is immune to basic crashes, and the art board is glitchy, not all the "brushes" work and pressing space too much will cause major lag. That aside, you're welcome to preview if you can't be bothered to download the regular version.
Thanks for playing. Share your screenshots. Good luck. I know this is a little unexpected, but I think it's done. Thanks to Alex Hufeland for the track, Hopefully this will be a little more than a game thing. Lots of easter eggs. Made in The Games Factory, feel free to look through the sauce if you have a compatible clickteam product, post screenshots, issues, etc here. Be patient through it, press = or P to skip frames..
Rule of flow. Simply press P or equal when you feel you've seen enough of the frame before it ends up being boring, because almost all frames are ENDLESS. Later on it's different.. It'll hopefully make sense in the whole product.
I included a .bat file to run the exe under one core. If you're having the sound looping bug, run the .bat.

I've been doing the one hour game jam the past few weeks, it's pretty fun! I thought this one turned out pretty well so I thought I'd post it here. Unity is a tough tool to use for such a tight time constraint, I find myself putting a lot of work into figuring out what I can actually get unity to do in that time frame rather than working from any particular idea. Still, sometimes it pushes you to use your tools more creatively than you might otherwise do. The theme this week was "two colors." A benefit of making very abstract games is that you don't have to go much out of your way to make your game fit the theme.

I totally saw the post about Mathora VI and decided that I had to do my own first person engine. It's not randomly generated but I think that it's very functional for something knocked up in two-to-three hours. It appears that any incorrect graphics have been quashed or at least I think that they have, the perspective and the short LOS are really confusing the heck out of me. Whilst the HUD is incredibly unfinished it's entirely done to MSX resolution and palette and I'd really like to finish it up unlike the last thing I shared here which I said that I would finish. This is becoming a trend with me.

I recently rediscovered the old Vektor game "Shuttle", a simulation based around the space shuttle.
This is how the average game of Shuttle goes.
(Because I'm not nearly mean enough to follow through with this, there is a cheat key. It's up to you to find it though. )
