It can be autobiographical, completely fictional, or some magical combination of the two. It can be where you are, it can be a different part of the world. It can be the entire world. It can be all people. It can be one thing. Your interpretation can be completely flexible, but keep the question in mind as you create the game.

Submit your game whenever. This event will be closed on 19th February: the day after my birthday. :D I will play all submitted games, and if I can figure out a way to do videos of them, I'll do some quick video reviews for each submission. In any case, I will be sure to add a review as a comment to your game once you post it here at GT.

OK, so it would appear that we have like a week left. It seems clear that we are lacking the tools and/or the will to actively collaborate on a single project. The only way I can imagine us pulling this off is if we somehow combine entirely unrelated throwaway projects.

Thus I declare the final direction of our project: THE EMERGENCY 100-IN-1 KLIK AND PLAY PIRATE KART MELTDOWN.

It will go down THIS WEEKEND and it will happen thusly: Like the Klik of the Month Klub, you have no more than two hours to complete a single game. UNlike the Klik of the Month Klub, there is no set time to start and end -- the Pirate Kart Meltdown runs continuously the entire weekend. The ultimate goal is to somehow collectively make it to 100 games. If we do not reach that goal, we'll repeat games on the menu with subtly altered names until we reach 100.

Also unlike the Klik of the Month Klub, there will be PRIZES. I mean, I've got too much shit in my house anyway. I'll post later with specifics of what you'll be getting (terrible games), but I see these categories:

The HOLY SHIT I'M DROWNING IN GAMES prize goes to the person who produces the greatest number of games in the 48-hour period.
The WTF IS GOING ON HERE prize goes to the person who develops the game with the most bizarre mechanics.
The VIVA VARIETY JOHNNY BLUEJEANS prize goes to the person with the largest range of game styles.

Voting in these categories will be open to everyone who creates games this weekend. Yes, even the HOLY SHIT I'M DROWNING IN GAMES prize is put to a vote. I just feel like it, that's why.

Either I'm ineligible for prizes or other people have to send me shit if I win. Prize donations are welcome.

Something I made during Assemblee that I didn't want to enter into the contest (given the complete lack of interest in my ACTUAL entry I probably should have). It's a 2 player game with Player 1 (Sir PLONelot) using A and D to move left and right with W to jump, while Player 2 (Madame de PLONpadour) uses the left and right arrow keys with up to jump.

The concept was to have everything be used by the same sprite, however I've added an option to change the sprite used with the C button. Warning this may provide seizure inducing and/or game breaking side effects.

The gameplay revolves around not touching anything but your own PLON field and even then you have to crap out a new PLON block within a certain time or you lose.

So, there was that "Klik and Play Marathon: The Final Laps" event.
FirecatFG and I made 42 short games!
Each of these games were made in about 15 or so minutes!

This exe has all the games that were posted in Klik and Play Marathon.
It also has a few games that I wanted to save for this huge file.
There's an interactive overworld for selecting all the games!
There's a password screen!
There's a huge text file with all the controls for each game and different hints.
