Wrist Lock!!!

A "local multiplayer mouse-based tug of war platform fighter." I've typed this phrase approximately 3000 times. I've typed the explanation for what that means 3000 more. This is my fault for making such a high concept video game.

You and your opponent stand or sit across from one another. The mouse is in between you. You each place a hand on your side of the mouse. When the game begins, the goomba-like monster is mouse controlled. Try to move it towards your lumberjack to get them to jump on it. If they do, THEY become mouse controlled and you now must move your lumberjack towards your opponent's lumberjack to bounce off of them and reduce their lives to zero.

It's also possible to win by reducing your opponent's OUCH meter to zero. Do this by getting them to land in the same place the just-jumped-on monster sits dazed.

Thirdly, the monster will "explode" when the timer runs out in a timed match. Anybody standing nearby will immediately have their lives reduced to zero (even if their life bar is set to infinite! Yow!). By "anybody" I mean "anybody who exists inside of the game." You, the player, should be safe.

I made the game customizable so you could theoretically do a "ouch drain only" match or a "countdown to destruction" match where you try to get the opponent exploded when the timer hits zero.

Not everybody is able or willing to use the mouse so you can also use the keyboard keys or the left thumbstick on an Xbox controller.

I think this is a pretty fun little bite-sized party game (ANOTHER genre???) and I hope you have fun with it too!

Attached is a .gif to give a better idea of how the game plays.

Clone Fu

A fighting game where if you punch another player you create a new clone of yourself. The winner is either the "last clone standing" or the team with the most clones at the end of the game.

You can customise matches too, i.e change the HP of each clone, change the maximum number of clones, play on one of 4 arenas, etc

Player 1:
Arrow Keys: move
comma: punch
period: special

Player 2:
WASD: move
G: punch
H: special

Player 3:
IJKL: move
O: punch
P: special

Player 4
Numpad: move
Numpad7: punch
Numpad9: special

Esc to pause/ quit on the main menu

You can combine moves with jumps and crouches and movement to get a whole bunch of other moves. It also works with up to 4 joypads cause I thought of everything

I Jab at Thee

for my first GT entry, i made a fighting game! it's a simple but intense little game based loosely on the fencing mechanic from nidhogg. try to hit your opponent's edge of the screen before they can hit yours. moving your weapon up and down lets you parry their attacks and pass their guard.

local multiplayer only for the moment. maybe i'll make a single player mode someday?

Fighting Game

An experience for 2 men. Women can play this game if they want to, but they won't be able to fully understand it since it deals with concepts that are elemental to the male psyche such as 'manliness', 'being a man', 'grunting at another man' and 'punching another man'.

Punch the other man's head, torso, upper legs, and lower legs before they punch yours.

Pilot your fist using the arrow keys.

Press your 'charge' button to charge forward with a more powerful punch. You can use this to destroy pieces of the other man's arm as well as his fist.

Press your 'punch' button to explode your fist and teleport back to your body. Use this to defend against the other man.
