Shoot the X and 2 Xs will take its place. Basically, exactly what it says on the tin.

Trying to add more commentary about the game here would just be freaking insulting.

Run over enemy soldiers to collect them. Shoot them at other soldiers to incapacitate them temporarily. Shoot them at tanks to destroy them.
Resist the invading army!
Your tank can only withstand four hits.

You will face several kinds of foes!

Standard soliders fire a bullet.
Big Guys are armed with a spread gun.
Pyromaniacs shoot limited-distance flames.
Tanks fire very fast shells.
The Generalissima must be defeated to claim victory.

CONTROLS:

W, A, S, D - move tank
Mouse - move crosshair
Mouse click - fire cannon in that direction
Space, arrows - navigate the menu

Nitty Gritty

A bunch of colourful sprites that were rejected by various videogame projects have banded together to star in their own game, which they've called "Nitty Gritty". Time to fire up that minigun, Nitty!

Z or Space - let 'er rip
Arrows - slip and weave

There are 17 opponent sprites. If one of them slips past the bottom of the screen, it may evolve into a new form and reappear later in the game. Exactly 8 of them are capable of evolving... some of them more than once.

After the game ends, you see a roll call of all the soundly defeated sprites.

EDIT: Updated Oct. 2011 with a title screen, music, and save files.

Gradi-ASS ver. 1.0 - by Ray Ayanami

The Gradian starship Vic Viper has been sentenced to death by Miclus attack for not being three-dimensional. As the Vic Viper, you must survive the onslaught of Micluses.

Gameplay:
Shoot Micluses until you hit the target score of 100,000,000. Running into a Miclus will take off a life. The game ends when you earn 100,000,000 points or lose all three lives.

Controls:
Arrow keys = Move around
Z = Fire

Stop Shooting Yourself

I was going to make some sort of shmup tower defense thing where you place towers/options/multiples around the screen and try to avoid being killed by waves of enemies without having weapons on the player "ship" itself, but then I didn't feel like making waves of enemies and noticed that I had already basically made potential obstacles in making the towers.

The red bar draining at the top indicates when the next tower will spawn. When it empties, a new tower is placed at your current position. After another few seconds, the tower goes into "active" mode. Once active, the tower fires bullets at a set rate. Survive for as long as possible and set that high score!

Avoid crashing! Shoot the walls for points! Super fast cave action!

EDIT: Oops I fixed a bug. It was supposed to be giving points relative to the scrolling speed instead of the bullet speed, but I forgot to put global.speed instead of speed. <_> (It is floor(global.speed)*8 per scenery shot now. :awesome:)
